Company Overview – Cisco is a global IT services provider, with a strategic goal of attributing 50% of its revenue to software and subscriptions by 2025 and 90% of its revenues attributed to its network of channel partners. Ice Blue Sky has a rich history in partnering with Cisco to enable its channel community through partner marketing and enablement programs, across the globe.


With the help of Ice Blue Sky, Cisco can now focus on equipping its partners involved in its pilot release of the Enterprise Agreement (EA) 3.0 Software Buying Program and beyond into the general release, through a role-based interactive video learning program.

Cisco’s Sales Business Development Manager for Partner Software was tasked with enabling channel partners to support the launch of a brand new software licensing programme, that equipped key partner roles to be able to sell, deliver and drive adoption across the software lifecycle. With high demands on partner’s time it was important that the training cut through the noise as well as deliver results in a convenient and optimised way. He needed an innovative product and an agency with deep knowledge of the partner ecosystem to design, develop and deliver digital training and enablement content that would optimise the time spent, and provide the capability for partners to act across the sales, presales and customer success manager roles.

To improve the learning experience and content understanding we created quizzes and direct links to tools accessed from within the videos. We designed infographics to support each learning track with the key learning points to appeal to all learner preferences, provide quick-start enablement, and reinforce learning in a highly consumable and visual format.


Cisco has transformed the partner user experience and achieved high levels of adoption from partners globally by enabling the partner to act not just learn. Key outcomes include:
